Investment Manager/ Portfolio Manager

Job description

Red Capital is seeking a strategic and decisive Investment Manager to spearhead our growth-oriented portfolios and entrusted investment accounts.

Based in our office at The NEXUS (District 1), you will play a pivotal role in driving superior returns and shaping the investment landscape of Red Capital.

Work responsibility

📍 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1. Portfolio Management & Execution

  • Efficiently construct and manage high-growth listed equity portfolios for the firm and entrusted clients.
  • Execute optimal investment/divestment decisions within approved limits or as mandated by the Board and Portfolio Director.
  • Review and verify daily transaction results with brokers, accounting departments, and custodian/supervisory banks.
  • Take full accountability for investment performance and ROI targets.

2. Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis

  • Monitor market movements, analyze trends, and identify potential opportunities and underlying risks for all investment/divestment activities.
  • Conduct in-depth corporate analysis to propose investment opportunities or adjustments based on real-time market dynamics.
  • Proactively convene meetings and propose emergency solutions to navigate unusual market fluctuations.

3. Strategic Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare comprehensive asset allocation and deep-dive investment reports for the Investment Committee, Board of Directors, and entrusted investors.
  • Formulate internal regulations, templates, and operational frameworks to enhance efficiency and risk control.
  • Ensure all investment activities and periodic reports strictly comply with internal policies and State Securities Commission (SSC) regulations.

4. Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and develop the listed equity investment team to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Perform other strategic tasks as requested by the CEO, COO, or the Board.

Job requirements

 

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven track record in investment or portfolio management within the Vietnamese listed capital markets.
  • Mandatory: Valid Fund Management License issued by the State Securities Commission (SSC) of Vietnam.
  • Qualifications: CFA, ACCA, or CPA charter holders are highly preferred.
  • Expertise: Exceptional analytical prowess with an intimate understanding of Vietnamese business models and the local regulatory environment.
  • Attributes: Decisive, composed under pressure, and highly proactive with a long-term investment mindset.
  • Nationality: This position is exclusively open to Vietnamese nationals (Expat candidates will not be considered for this specific role).
